ET / ECIO 2008, Florence April 10 - 12

In order to cater to the growing number of interventionists involved in oncology, the CIRSE Foundation organised a meeting dedicated entirely to Interventional Oncology and invited to join the ET / ECIO meeting from April 10-12, 2008, in Florence, Italy.
More than 1,200 experts convened in Florence to update their knowledge on Embolotherapy and Interventional Oncology and hear the world’s leading experts speak about these state-of-the-art technologies.

To assure a smoothly flow of proceedings of this meeting Webges was assigned to deliver a major part of the necessary applications and services.

Exhibitors and participants were able to register for the congress using either the online registration process before the meeting with convenient online payment methods, or directly onsite in Florence; both were made possible with our fast user friendly cReg system.

The badges of the participants were equipped with a unique barcode to allow exhibitors and organizers of satellite symposia to scan the visitors with our state of the art handheld cLead system and download the collected data from a dedicated online platform after the meeting.

Also our very successful cSlide center was used to distribute all presentations according to the timeslot and the location/room.

The scientific content of the congress - was as held as oral lectures, which were recorded with cLive - the Webges Presentation Tool and will be published as webcast on the societies' website.
